Terms of Use

1. Agreement and account

These Terms govern your use of Kitchen Fridge. By creating an account, accepting the Terms or using the service, you agree to them. Provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure and notify support of suspected misuse. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Without registration, one search is available under Free rules (up to 6 recipes, first 3 open). Register to start a separate 7-day Free period. To prevent repeat guest searches, we retain a keyed hash of the visitor IP address and a guest cookie identifier while this restriction operates. We do not store the raw IP in this record or collect MAC addresses. People sharing an IP may need to register after the first guest search.

2. The service

Kitchen Fridge offers ingredient entry and photo recognition, recipe search and AI generation, recipe images, source links, favourites, feedback, cooking guidance and plan-based limits. Features, limits and availability may change. The service and its automated output may contain errors.

3. AI output and third-party sources

Recipes, translations, nutrition estimates, pairings and dish images may be generated by artificial intelligence. Images are illustrative serving suggestions. Source links are provided for comparison and further reading; third-party websites and content remain governed by their owners’ terms and are not controlled by Kitchen Fridge.

4. Your submissions

You keep your rights in uploaded photos, ingredient descriptions, feedback and other material. You grant Kitchen Fridge limited permission to copy, transform and send them to providers only to the extent necessary to operate, protect and improve the requested functions. Ingredient-recognition photos are deleted after recognition and are not stored. Do not submit material without the necessary rights or sensitive information unrelated to cooking.

5. Food safety, nutrition and allergens

Kitchen Fridge is not medical, dietary or professional food-safety advice. Recipes are not individually laboratory tested or certified. You must verify ingredients and labels, allergies and intolerances, cross-contamination, freshness, storage, appliance instructions, cooking times and safe internal temperatures. Never rely on an image or AI output to determine that food is safe or allergen-free.

6. Acceptable use

Do not disrupt or reverse engineer the service, bypass access or plan limits, probe security, scrape or automate access without permission, upload malware or unlawful material, impersonate others, or use the service in a way that infringes rights or law.

7. Plans, payments and cancellation

Free lasts 7 days. After that, you must choose an available paid plan to continue using subscription functions or stop using the service.

At checkout, the full price, taxes, billing period, automatic renewal and cancellation method will be shown. Cancelling stops the next renewal, but not the current paid period: access continues until it ends. Cancellation does not by itself create a right to a refund or delete the account. The Lemon Squeezy terms and mandatory provisions of law also apply.

8. Intellectual property

The Kitchen Fridge name, interface, software, taxonomy and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Kitchen Fridge or third-party recipes, marks, images or other content.

9. Availability and termination

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue functions and may restrict an account that violates these Terms, threatens security or exposes others to risk. You may ask to close your account through support.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes, law and contact

We may update these Terms and will identify material changes by a new date and, where appropriate, an in-service or email notice. Questions may be submitted through “Write to us” in the footer.
